The Passion440 is a receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid. Unlike a conventional Behind-the-Ear (BTE) hearing aid, the RIC’s receiver is placed into the ear canal itself, and the rest of the hearing aid is placed behind the ear. This allows for a radical reduction in size.
